SERVICE: KM DATA, INC. STYLE

We are a service company, that means we believe in customer service and support. Our customers know that they can call, even on off contract equipment, and we will do what we can to get them going. We offer multiple service options for our customers.

On-site service: Our service trucks are equipped with most parts needed to get your printer or fax going in short order. We also have free loaners available if we don’t have the part you need.

Billable Service Calls:  minimum one hour labor

Zone I (1-24 miles): Mono: $95.00 per hour, Color- $125.00 per hour

Zone II (25 miles from Apex): Mono $105.00 per hour, Color-$150.00 per hour

Zone III (over 25 miles from Apex): Mono-$125.00 per hour, Color- $195.00 per hour 

Plus parts and mileage

Mileage is $1.00 per mile, one way, from Apex

Service Contracts:

On-site service contracts available on most printers, MFP’s and fax

On-site service contracts with consumable supplies available on most printers, MFP’s and fax

Priority response times

Bench Service:

Just $55.00 per hour plus parts, come on in and say hi!

Remote Service:

In addition to servicing The Triangle, we offer state-wide service to our larger accounts.  We work with over 20 independent equipment service dealers across North Carolina, so we support you from Murphy to Manteo.  

Overnight exchange:

Next day delivery of a replacement fax or printer, call tag issued for pickup. We pay freight both ways.

 

SERVICE CONTRACTS:

Contracts can be 1, 2 or 3 years, taken at time of equipment purchase or at any other time. Equipment maintenance placed at a time other than installation may be subject to a $35.00 inspection charge (Zone I).

Maintenance and Supplies Contract:

Covers all parts, travel, labor and consumable supplies (toners, drums, belts and maintenance kits)

All consumables covered, except paper

Software and network issues are not covered.

Free on-site loaner if needed

Equipment may be swapped out for the same product or better if it cannot be fixed, at no charge to the customer.

If equipment on contract is upgraded with a KM Data, Inc. product, the unused portion of maintenance contract can be transferred to new equipment.
